Money???

How much money do I need?

I bring very little cash....($100)......and use credit cards where ever I can (most places)......I don't bring travelers checks because it is easier to use an ATM......there are ATM's everywhere that dispense Thai Baht....if you bring cash or travelers checks....most places charge a conversion charge to exchange the US Dollar into Thai Baht.....so the ATM is usually the best and safest way to travel in Thailand

Thailand uses the Thai Baht as its currency.....about 28 Thai Baht to the dollar.

A one hour foot massage is about 250-300 Baht (around $9 US)...plus a 50 -100 baht tip ($2)......a complete one hour Thai style massage (with clothes on)....is around 350-400 baht ($15).....Western style oil massage is 300-500 baht......at the Hotel Spa a massage can be over 2000 baht ($53)..

What's the difference? Location and convenience.....The hotel charges a premium for the luxury massage / spa....so it is up to your personal taste.....you can relax at the hotel spa......or experience the "adventure" with me down the side streets searching for the best "local" places.......we will schedule a few trips to visit the local places....remember....these "local" places are actually high quality great massages.
