I left Miami at Saturday at 4pm flying to Los Angles....I left LA at 11pm Saturday....The flight was almost 18 hours...very smooth...and very long!
I watched Mission Impossible III, The Davinci Code, Nacho Libre, X-Men III, and tried to sleep and still had (10) hours left in the flight. There is no way to sugar coat it...it is a long fucking flight.
The new Bangkok airport was very nice.....and it was raining when when we landed on Monday morning at 6am.....that's right, I left Saturday and didn't get to Bangkok until Monday! The most important thing...my luggage got here!
The taxi struggled through the rain and brutal Monday morning rush hour traffic....it took about an hour to get to the hotel...were I slept almost all day....waking up to eat and get my first massage to relieve the aches and pains of the long flight.
Today, is Tuesday, I just got back from the spa...steam room, hot tub, and herbal tea...turned on the laptop and saw the Dolphins lost to Houston...and as a fan and season ticket holder for (40) years...I don't care anymore!
I am leaving now for my massage appointment and pedicure....Just a reminder, Thailand uses 220v Ac power, if you bring laptops or other AC toys, you might need a power transformer. The hotel I am staying at today has a single 110v AC outlet in the bathroom for electric shavers, and they provide transformers as a courtesy for guests...but I am not sure about the hotels we are staying at....also don't forget to bring some Gold Bond powder to keep the swamp ass away!
